“El Clásico” is the biggest event at Barcelona’s home ground, and securing tickets has never been easy. This year, the match is even more highly anticipated, as it marks only the second time Real Madrid has visited Camp Nou since Barça returned to the stadium (which is currently undergoing renovation).

If you want to go all out, you can purchase VIP Premium tickets directly from Barça’s official website, with prices starting at €1,750. These tickets offer prime seating, access to the VIP lounge, and complimentary food and drinks.

Another option is via trusted resellers like GetYourGuide, which is selling a package for €1,920.50 per person with all taxes and fees included. This ticket places you in the main stand alongside the pitch (Tribune 102 area). They guarantee adjacent seating and also include food and drinks.

Where is Tribune 102?

The “Tribuna” is the main stand running along the length of the pitch. It’s a VIP seating area and has been one of the most expensive sections at Camp Nou.

Perhaps the best thing about a seat this low is that the match no longer feels distant or abstract. You can watch the players move and you get all the small things television never bothers with, like a defender pointing furiously at someone.

Also, just imagine being close enough to actually see the players’ faces when they come over for a corner. Pretty nice already.

If you want tickets in the Tribune 102 section, don’t wait too long. Tickets for this area tend to sell out very quickly.

Cheap El Clásico tickets online? Watch out for scams!

This match has always been known for its high ticket prices. So, if you see suspiciously cheap tickets online, be extremely cautious. It’s likely either a scam or an outdated listing from a previous match (like the one back in May).

And even if you sign up as a Barça member (socio), there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get cheaper tickets. Membership simply gives you priority access to the ticket queue.

The last El Clásico at Camp Nou

If you’re curious about the atmosphere at the renovated Camp Nou, just look at the match held on May 10, 2026. That was the first El Clásico at Camp Nou after the stadium had been closed for renovations for three years. It was an incredibly emotional night, and the upcoming match in October promises to be just as thrilling, if not more so.

Even before kick-off, the entire stadium held up placards to form a massive “FORÇA BARÇA” display. Then, the club’s anthem rang out. On that occasion, the crowd didn’t rely on the loudspeakers; they turned them off to sing a cappella together. It was enough to give you goosebumps.

Before the match

If you want to grab a beer and a bite to eat while soaking up the atmosphere with fellow fans before heading into the stadium, just walk over to the Riera Blanca area.

This street slopes steeply up from Collblanc station all the way to Camp Nou, lined on both sides with football-themed bars. About two or three hours before kickoff, the area gets packed and feels like a festival. You can simply take Metro Line 5 and get off at Collblanc station to reach this area.

As you get closer to the stadium, heading toward Travessera de les Corts, you’ll find even more eateries. Two well-known spots here are Granja El Gol and Casa Pin.

If you want a change of pace, you can drop by Futballárium on Carrer de Benavent (about 200 meters from the stadium). It’s owned by a Hungarian man, and the interior is decked out in memorabilia honoring the Hungarian players who played for Barça back in the 1950s. Stopping here for a pre-match drink is a fantastic choice.

Watching football at the new Camp Nou

When you enter the stadium, you can probably still see three massive cranes operating inside, since the uppermost tiers and the new VIP suites aren’t finished yet.

The current approved capacity is 62,652 seats, significantly higher than last year when Barça first moved back in.

Once you step out of the tunnel to your seat and look down at the lush green pitch, the scaffolding and raw concrete behind you no longer matter. What lies before you is still the magnificent Camp Nou.
