Tickets & Prices

You can buy FC Barcelona tickets on the club’s own website or through a resale site. To increase your chances of finding a ticket, you should check both options since the club only has a limited number of tickets for each game.

You can find the match you’re interested in on the fixture list and purchase directly from the club, as the prices are lowest there. With each fixture you choose from, you get three different options:

• the Basic one is a standard seat;
• the Basic Plus includes a better position together with entry to the museum and a scarf;
• and the VIP Premium option gives you access to a lounge and catering as well.
• Important note: The club has abolished the rule allowing season ticket holders to return their seats if they aren’t attending. So, waiting around for last-minute releases just two days before the match won’t work anymore.

Buying outside the club

If the club is sold out, you can buy tickets from reputable intermediaries like GetYourGuide. The price will be higher, but you get a seat that still exists on your date when the cheaper tiers of the club have been sold out.

When do Barcelona tickets go on sale?

Ticket sales start four or five months before the match, but the kick-off time isn’t finalised until about two weeks before the event, so it’s necessary to verify the exact date before booking your flights and accommodation.

How much are Barcelona tickets?

There isn’t an official list of ticket prices since the price is displayed at the point of checkout and varies according to the opponent and the seat you have.

The price of the same seat can be higher when a major match is taking place: for a league game it ranges from €110 to €300, but for the popular Clásico it ranges from €450 to €800 with the club and €1,500 to €2,000 when resold (these were the actual prices last season).

Only five have a confirmed kick-off time so far, and Copa del Rey home games get added after the draws.

Even if you can’t attend a match, you can still go to the Camp Nou museum and stadium on normal days.

Which Seat to Choose

• Behind the goal are Gol Nord and Gol Sud. They offer the cheapest tickets and are the noisiest area, so close to the most fervent fans that you end up spending the match immersed in the noise. We recommend this as a choice for first-time visitors. The club’s new singing section, Gol 1957, is located in the South Goal and is named after the year the stadium was opened.
• The Tribuna is the main stand and lies alongside the halfway line; you get a proper view of the shape of the game from that vantage point and in return you pay a good deal.
• The lateral goes down the opposite side and ends up at the midpoint on both accounts.
• Skip the back rows since they are elevated and the far part of the pitch is far away from them.

Note: What you are purchasing is a zone and not a specifically numbered seat, and the seat doesn’t receive its assignment until a day or two before the match.

How to get to Camp Nou

Take the metro, it will get you to Camp Nou from anywhere in the city.

• Metro Line 5 stops at Collblanc and Badal.
  • Collblanc: Walk north towards Carrer d’Arístides Maillol (Main entrance, Access 15).
  • Badal: Walk north and follow Carrer de Benavent towards Travessera de les Corts (Access 18).
• Metro Line 3 stops at Palau Reial and Les Corts.
  • Palau Reial: Walk down Carrer de Martí i Franquès towards the stadium (Access 9).
  • Les Corts: Follow Travessera de les Corts west towards the stadium (Access 18).
• Trams T1, T2 and T3 run to Avinguda de Xile, Palau Reial, Maria Cristina and Zona Universitària.
• We do not reccommend driving to the stadium since parking could be limited or not available during the Espai Barça construction.
• Taxis are expensive and not really worth it.

You can also take the hop-on hop-off (hoho) bus on its Blue route, it has a stop right in front of the stadium, near Access 15. Hoho bus is also a good way to sightsee the city before the match.

What is matchday at Camp Nou actually like?

You’ll know you’re getting close to Camp Nou before you see the stadium. The metro starts filling with Barça shirts and scarves, and the streets around the ground get noticeably busier as kick-off approaches.

There is not much to do inside the stadium before the match. Spend the last hour before kick-off at the bars or food stalls outside. Buy a sandwich before you enter. You can bring food into the stadium.

The stadium has entrances all around, and your gate may be far from the metro station, so allow extra time to walk there.

When you enter, you will see that the stadium is still being rebuilt. Two tiers are finished, but the third tier is not complete. Construction crews are still working during matches.

When you reach the main seating area, you will see how large the stadium is. It feels bigger in person than in photos. Fun fact: once the redevelopment is complete, the stadium is expected to hold around 105,000 people, making it one of the largest football stadiums in the world.

The moment is the anthem. The Cant del Barça plays before every match and the whole ground sings it, and the noise rolls down off the singing section behind the goal.

It is difficult not to be swept up in it. For a few minutes, Camp Nou feels less like a football stadium and more like a place carrying decades of memories: old victories, painful defeats, famous goals and generations of supporters who have stood in the same seats singing the same words.

Even if Barça is not your team, there is something special about seeing all of that history come alive around you. And if you do love football, hearing the anthem from the stands rather than through a television might be one of those moments you remember long after the final whistle.

Insider Tips

• Every ticket has the name of the person who will use it. Make sure you enter the details for everyone in your group at least 48 hours before kick-off. If you miss this step, the club will not send your ticket and you cannot enter the stadium.
• Take the passport which matches your ticket since security may ask for both of them at the gate and you won’t be admitted without them.
• As you’re allowed to have food in, why not get a bocata at one of the bars on the ground floor and then carry it through.
• You cannot bring bottles or containers made of metal, glass, ceramic, or wood. You can bring a plastic water bottle under 500ml, but you must remove the cap.
• Do not bring backpacks or suitcases. They are not allowed inside the stadium.
• Watch the FC Barcelona Femení match if you want an experience that is more local and far less touristy; the club plays its biggest fixtures at Camp Nou.
• Leaving the stadium can take time. After a full match, the metro lines are crowded and you may have to wait. Be careful with your belongings in the crowd.
