What’s Included
Sagrada Familia
Skip-the-line entry to Gaudí’s unfinished masterpiece. The base pass covers standard admission. Tower access is available as an upgrade during booking.
Two towers to choose from. The Passion Tower (75m) offers wide-open panoramic views of Barcelona and the sea. The Nativity Tower (55m) is shorter but packed with intricate Gaudi details up close. Both require a spiral staircase descent, so neither is suitable for children under 6 or anyone with mobility concerns.
Casa Batlló
Standard admission to Casa Batlló includes a SmartGuide, an interactive device that combines audio commentary with augmented reality. Use it to learn about the house’s unique features and view detailed visual reconstructions throughout your visit.
Sagrada Família sells out weeks in advance in summer. If your preferred dates are fully booked, you can select Casa Batlló as an alternative primary attraction. The booking process is the same.
Park Guell
Timed entry to Gaudí’s colorful hilltop park, your ticket covers the Monumental Zone: the famous mosaic bench, the dragon stairway, and the Hypostyle Room.
Optional upgrades include the Gaudi House Museum inside the park or a guided tour. The free areas outside the Monumental Zone still deliver solid city views without extra cost.
Hola BCN Transport Card
This is what separates the Essentials Pass from cheaper Gaudi-only bundles. Pick your duration at checkout: 48, 72, 96, or 120 hours of unlimited rides.
Covered: metro, TMB buses, tram, FGC trains (Zone 1), Rodalies commuter trains (Zone 1), the Montjuic funicular, and the airport metro line L9 Sud. That last one matters. You can ride straight from Barcelona Airport terminals T1 or T2 into the city center without buying a separate ticket.
One catch: the Hola BCN does NOT cover the Aerobus express shuttle.
The card is physical. Collect it from TMB vending machines at the airport (T1 and T2 metro/RENFE stops) or any metro station. The clock starts on your first tap, not when you pick it up.
Audio Guide
A Vox City digital audio guide covering 100+ points of interest across Barcelona, including the Gothic Quarter, Barceloneta, and Eixample. Works offline with downloadable maps.
10% Discount Code
After purchase, you receive a separate email with a personal 10% discount code, which you can use for further ticket bookings on Tiqets, across 80+ attractions and experiences: Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Camp Nou tours, flamenco shows, sailing trips, and even the Aerobus.
The code only works online through the special booking link in the email. You cannot use it at venue ticket counters.

How It Works
- Select your date and transport duration. Pick your Sagrada Familia or Casa Batlló visit date first, then choose 48h, 72h, 96h, or 120h for Hola BCN.
- Choose your Sagrada Familia time slot. Morning slots (9:00-10:00) fill up fastest. Pick your tower upgrade here if you want one.
- Choose your Park Guell time slot. Can be a different day than Sagrada. Early morning or late afternoon is quietest.
- The 72-hour Hola BCN Card is the sweet spot for most visitors. It covers three full days of sightseeing and transit to/from the airport. Only go longer if you’re staying 5+ days and plan to ride daily.
- Complete checkout. Instant confirmation email with your digital vouchers.
- Download the Vox City audio guide app. Save the audio content offline before you fly.
- Collect your Hola BCN card. At any metro station TMB vending machine. Airport machines at T1 and T2 work too. Don’t tap it until you need your first ride.
- Show your QR codes at each attraction. Sagrada and Park Guell both scan directly from your phone.
- Use your 10% discount code. Check the separate email, click the booking link, and apply the code online for up to 5 more attractions.
Insider Tips
- Collect your Hola BCN at the airport, but wait until the next morning to tap it if you land in the evening. The countdown runs continuously once activated.
- Book Sagrada Familia for 9:00 or 9:30. The morning light through the stained glass on the Nativity side is the best photo you’ll get inside the building.
- Visit Park Guell at the last slot of the day. Fewer visitors, softer light, and you can stay in the free areas after the Monumental Zone closes.
- Download the Vox City app before you fly. It needs Wi-Fi for the initial download but runs offline after that.
- Use your 10% code on the priciest extras first. 10% off Casa Milà (La Pedrera) saves more than 10% off the Chocolate Museum. You only get 5 uses.
- The Passion Tower is better for afternoon visits, Nativity for mornings. If you only care about panoramic views, skip the towers. Park Guell gives you a comparable skyline for free.

FAQs
How much is the Barcelona Essentials Pass?
Pricing depends on the transport length you choose (48 to 120 hours) and your entry tiers at Sagrada Família and Park Güell. Use the booking widget to see the current total for your dates.
Is the Barcelona Essentials Pass worth it?
The transport is what tips it. It bundles Sagrada Família, Park Güell, an Hola BCN card for 48 to 120 hours, and an audio guide, and that transport card alone replaces the separate one you’d buy anyway.
What’s included in the Barcelona Essentials Pass?
Skip-the-line Sagrada Família entry, timed Park Güell entry, an Hola BCN transport card for 48 to 120 hours, an audio guide with 100+ points of interest, and a 10% discount code. Tower access at Sagrada Família is an optional add-on at checkout.
What is the Hola Barcelona transport in the pass?
The Hola BCN card gives unlimited metro, bus, tram, and Zone 1 trains for the number of hours you choose, from 48 up to 120. It also covers the airport metro on the L9 Sud line.
Which Barcelona pass should I choose?
Pick the Essentials Pass for the Gaudí landmarks plus unlimited transport. Pick the Barcelona Card if you want free museum entry and a longer window, or the standalone Barcelona Pass if you don’t need metro and bus transport.
What if Sagrada Família is sold out?
You can select Casa Batlló as your primary attraction instead. It’s two blocks from Casa Milà (La Pedrera) on Passeig de Gràcia and includes timed entry. Your transport card and audio guide are unaffected.
