Catch the Thrill at Spain’s Ultimate Theme Park Destination

🎟️ Quick Guide To Buy PortAventura World Tickets

Here are three ticket options, from one park to the full experience, all with skip the line entry so you can spend more time having fun.

Benefits

  • PortAventura World packs three theme parks into one epic destination.
  • At PortAventura Park, you’ll explore six totally different worlds, each with its own vibe.
  • Over in Ferrari Land, thrill-seekers can ride the tallest and fastest coaster in Europe.
  • And when the heat kicks in, the Caribbean-style water park is the perfect place to cool off.

Tickets and Prices

PortAventura World offers a few different ticket options:

  • General admission: grants access to PortAventura Park, Ferrari Land, and Caribe Aquatic Park, but each requires a separate ticket. You can visit them individually or combine them as you wish.
  • Combo and multi-day tickets: stretch your fun. Two and three-day passes allow you to mix and match parks.
  • Express Passes: let you skip the ride queues. You can buy single‑ride access (Express ONE) or unlimited passes (Express Unlimited) that cover attractions across the parks. They’re available online, at guest services, and sometimes included with select hotel stays.

Plan Your Visit

Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your visit:

PortAventura World typically opens at 10:00 and closes around 18:00, though hours often extend later during weekends and peak seasons. The parks may close on select weekdays in winter, so it’s always worth checking the official calendar before you go. For the best experience, visit mid-week during spring or autumn when the crowds are lighter and lines are shorter.

PortAventura World is in Vila-seca, near Salou, on Spain’s Costa Dorada.

  • Train: The PortAventura station is just a few minutes’ walk from the park entrance. Direct regional trains run from Barcelona, Tarragona, and Reus.
  • Car: Take the AP-7 motorway. There is onsite paid parking at the park.
  • By air: The nearest airport is Reus (15 minutes away). Barcelona El Prat and Girona airports also offer easy access by train, bus, or car.

The main entrance is near the Mediterrània area. Simply follow the signs posted in the train station and parking areas.

PortAventura World is friendly and accessible for visitors with reduced mobility. Most areas of the park feature clearly marked, wheelchair-friendly paths, and there are ramps and adapted access points throughout. Wheelchairs can be rented at guest services near the entrance, and accessible restrooms are available throughout all three parks.

Tip: Guests with reduced mobility or a neurodevelopmental condition like autism can get a special wristband for priority access at PortAventura World. Bring your documentation to guest services, and up to four guests can join you on rides, and one can tag along to the shows.

Insider Tips

  • Buy Tickets Online: This can save valuable time in the queues. If not possible, be sure to arrive early since the park fills up fast.
  • Plan Meals Strategically: Eat before or after the lunch rush to avoid long lines at restaurants, and bring a light layer for chilly indoor dining spots.
  • Optimize Your Route: In PortAventura Park, most people start in Mediterrània since it’s right at the entrance. Try heading to the back of the park first and working your way forward to avoid the morning crowds.
  • Pack Smart: Bring sunscreen, a refillable water bottle, a hat, and comfortable shoes. You’ll be walking a lot, and there’s limited shade in some areas.
  • Consider Staying Onsite: If you’re visiting for more than a day, staying at a park hotel gives you early access, free shuttle service, and better rest between visits.

What to See & Do

PortAventura Park

The main park is split into six themed worlds:

Mediterrània
This calm, Catalan-style harbor is packed with lakeside cafés, shops, and 3 main rides. But don’t let the peaceful vibe fool you. Mediterrània is home toFurius Baco, a one-of-a-kind coaster that launches you from 0 to 135 km/h in just 3.5 seconds with 4.7 g of force. It’s the only Intamin Wing Rider in the world, so you’ll fly just above the track with nothing below your feet.

Polynesia
A quiet, tropical corner filled with palm trees, misty trails, and island vibes. Tutuki Splash is the main draw for thrill-seekers as you’ll float amidst a volcano and experience two soaking drops. Kon-Tiki Wave swings you gently under the trees, and Canoes offers a calm paddle ride that is perfect for little ones. Grab lunch at Bora Bora, and if you’re lucky, catch a live dance show while you eat.

China
You’ll immediately step under bright red pagodas and pass stone dragons around every corner. It’s home to Shambhala, a massive hypercoaster known for its long drops and floating airtime, and Dragon Khan, a twisting, looping ride that still holds up as one of the park’s most intense. Between events, you can grab refreshments at one of 5 cafes or meander through the themed plazas.

México
Lively music, bright colours, and temple ruins give this area its bold energy. The main thrill is Hurakan Condor, a towering free-fall ride that drops you 100 m straight down. There’s also El Diablo, a fast-paced mine train coaster through rugged terrain. Don’t miss the spicy street food, or head to La Cantina for tacos and live mariachi shows.

Far West
This dusty wild-west town is packed with wooden coasters, log flumes, and carnival games. Stampida is a duelling wooden coaster, and Grand Canyon Rapids will have you spinning and soaked. Kids can pan for gold or hop on a train around the area. Stop by The Old Steak House for a full Western-style meal.

SésamoAventura
This colorful Sesame Street-themed zone is perfect for younger kids. It’s full of gentle rides, water play areas, and friendly character shows. Tami Tami is a kid-sized coaster, and Magic Fish lets little ones race around in spinning sea creatures. There are plenty of shaded spots and quiet zones for breaks, too.

You can also head indoors to The Ferrari Experience and try the Pole Position Challenge. It’s a racing simulator zone with eight F1-style setups where you can test your skills on virtual tracks that feel surprisingly real. It’s a must-try for anyone who’s ever dreamed of being behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car.

There are seven places to eat in the park, including Ristorante Cavallino for sit-down meals and several grab-and-go options, like Pit Lane and Ice Cream Box.
